One mile w/u, 2x20 tempo (or 2 miles at tempo) @ 8:18-8:30 with a 5-10 min jog between, one mile cool down. That was what was on the schedule today. I did one mile w/u, 14 min @ tempo, 5-10 min jog, 18 min at tempo, .88 mile cool down.
I came out to fast on the first tempo, but I had already run close to 1.5-1.7 miles when I died. the return tempo interval was over two nice hills and was approx 2 miles. During the last mile I was hurtin' but felt kinda settled and had a nice open stride and good cadence for most of it.
