A brief on the Half
Time 2:06:56, average pace 9:31. How I ran 13.33 miles instead of 13.1 (the course according to Garmin) I don't know, but I guess everyone who ran today had to run that far too. Here are the splits: 9:51, 9:24, 9:36, 9:35, 9:31, 9:11, 9:19, 9:25, 9:37, 9:25, 9:22, 9:48, 9:37, last .33 miles 3:08. I felt good until mile 11, after that it was a strugle.
I feel good about today. My splits were pretty even and the momentary parochial "what if's" and "if only's" I entertain don't mention how far I've come. It was a good run.
More later.
Happy Running!

You rock dude! Sounds like a great run!
Holy smokes bat man that is really fast!! A big congrats to you!!
Congratulations! I think Susan said it was a PR for you, even better. Those splits look good. Mine usually follow the start fast slow down approach.
Congrats on the PR! Good job!
Great blog you have here! I found this great site about Reverse Cell Phone and knew you are interested.
Congratulations Richard! Excellent time.
Congrats. Yeah Susan said it was a PR, but you didn't even mention it.
As for the Garmin, they're not 100% accurate. I ran a "10K" that was long so I checked with 3 Garmin owners and I got 3 different responses that varied by a few tenths of a mile.
i had a similar garmin experience with one of my fellow runners sunday. his read 13.31.
mine read 13.31 too
great job on Sunday - you did so well.
