Last Long Run
dianne and i had a really nice, and different, thanksgiving. all the kids had plans, either out of town or at in-laws, so it looked like we would be alone in the house for thanksgiving. at the last minute my sister came to visit last week. on thanksgiving day none of us felt like cooking a big meal so dianne and barbara made sweet potatoe pie. then we went out to a nice little restaurant for dinner on thanksgiving. we had a great time and the only down side was not having left-overs, like a turkey sandwich, to go with the pie about three hours later.
sunday's long run was productive and is the last true long run before the white rock half marathon on the 10th of december. the run was 75 minutes of running at an easy pace, then 45 minutes at race pace. tomorrow is an easy hour with 6x15 second pick-ups.
happy running everyone!
