Tuesday Post, boring title
today's run: 60 mins with 6x3min hard intervals with moderate paced recovery. i got home as dianne, mbw, was heading out to run. today dianne ran her fastest 3 mile run to date.
i think its weird/quirky to think about breathing/cadence patterns when i run. oh well, if the shoe fits i suppose i'll run in it. in the end and at the end i'm just gasping, or as try says,"gulping air like a trout." this addiction to running is a funny thing.
Happy Running!

I find trying to monitor the relation of footsteps to breaths taken easier than doing those flam paradiddles.
Wow - BW made it to bold type. Great job Diane!
Kudos to your wife. Nice run for you too.
The only time I do any breathing techniques is when I am anxious and my heartrate is too high (typically at the beginning of a 5 or 10k.) My nephew was working on his breathing and footwork when I ran a few laps with him on the track last week. When I asked him about it - he said he was doing it because I was running too fast for him! Everyone is different.
You are doing so well! I am so inspired by both you and your wife!Go massoman, go massoman, get your groove on!
